The Creation of a Monster

This is the beginning of a book I am writing called:
The Creation of a Monster.

"Yer kiddin' me...right?"
Simon Grey laughed as he slowly pulled his jeans up and turned to face the beautiful woman laying naked in her bed.
Leaning over as he buttoned his shirt he kissed her lightly on the forehead.
"Honey this was..."
Waving his hand around in the air then he grinned sheepishly at her, "a whole lotta fun, but just a one time thing..."

He backed up and moved toward the door seeing her face turn into a frown.
"But Simon...I thought we had somethin'..."
She said letting the sheet drop exposing herself to him.

He raised an eyebrow as he stared down at her perfect little body, then cleared his throat and chuckled when he pulled his baby blues back up to meet hers.

"You knew I was a Tom Cat when ya met me darlin'."
And without waiting for a response he opened the door and left the room getting her to jump out of bed and follow him, to just stand naked, in her apartment house hallway.

He never looked back as he jogged down the stairs. No need. He knew she'd just throw something at him anyway, and he'd rather avoid getting pummeled again.

Finally jumping down the last few steps, he took off at a run out into the street just to go only a few blocks to his souped-up 1950 Ford. He hopped in and started it and then fiddled with the rearview mirror looking at his slightly messed up hair.
Chuckling to himself, he smoothed it down by running his fingers through it and then started on down the road, to head back to his Grandparents farm.

Walking into the kitchen of the farmhouse just as his petite grandmother came through the kitchen doorway with her apron pulled up full of eggs.
She smiled and shook her head at the sight of her grandson.
"Well its about time you dragged your sorry behind in here, Simon Alexander Grey..."
Her using his middle name meant only one thing.
He was in trouble.
Big trouble.

Shit  He thought and he let out a heavy sigh.

"Granddad's pretty frosted, huh?"
He said taking a piece of bacon and putting it in his mouth as he leaned on the kitchen counter.
She laughed softly as she carefully placed the eggs in a basket and turned to him wiping her hands.
"You could say that..."
She said ushering him to the table and brought him a plate as he sat down. She put her hand on his shoulder leaning to his ear, whispering to him.
"So I'd suspect you should shake a tail feather and hurry up and eat so you can get out there and try and make him happy again..."
She kissed him on the side of his head and went back to the sink as he scarfed down his plate of food.

After finishing his breakfast he ran up the stairs to his room and got changed in more farm appropriate clothes, then took off outside and down the dirt road to the corn fields.

He slowly sauntered up behind his grandfather as he turned and scowled at him.

"Decided to finally bring your scoundrel ass home I see?"
Simon smiled to himself but then quickly straightened his face up with a more serious look and nodded.

"Yes'sir...sorry 'bout that. Lost track of time."
Simon said walking past his grandfather and hopped up onto the seat of the tractor then looked down at him.
"I'll make up for lost time and work a little longer today."
His grandfather raised his eyebrow and slightly cracked a smile.
"That you will."
He nodded at him and turned to walk away slowly, not saying another word to him the rest of the day.

As the day drug on Simon saw his grandfather in the distance packing up his things.
The normal day was over, just not for him.

But before heading back to the house he turned and nodded to Simon, acknowledging to him that he knew he was going to hold up to his promise and work longer today.

Simon sighed and just raised his arm waving as he slid off the tracker and started grabbing arm fulls of cornstalks and tossing them into the back of the truck.
He grumbled to himself, only slightly cursing his grandfather and slumped his shoulders as he jumped into the front seat of the truck as he noticed the sun was starting to set.

"Damn..."
He mumbled.
"I was really hopin' to catch the girls as they got out of class..."

He leaned his head back on the head rest and smiled thinking of the hot little numbers bouncing out of the school library, with their books pressed against their tight sweaters.
Exhaling a soft moan he looked back down and proceeded to start the truck so he could drive it down the barn.

"Maybe I'll still be able to catch 'em comin' out of the soda shop..."
He gave himself a handsome quirky grin and went to finish his chores.

As the night sky blanketed the world Simon was just finishing his work and he walked out of the barn, slowly closing the door, but turned his head quickly as he heard a twig crack behind him.

"Who's there?"
He said raising his voice slightly and called into the darkened trees, getting no response.
He turned back and finished latching the barn door and before he could react there was a strong arm around his neck and the barn door had been reopened, dragging him back in to the dark building.

"What the hell?!?!"
He yelled trying to loosen the persons grip on his neck, but failing miserably.

Struggling he kicked his legs but the person had such a death grip on him it was completely hopeless.

His captor drug him to a corner of the barn and just as their grip loosened up slightly he felt  a sharp pain in his neck.

"Ohhh shiiiit!"
He screamed and reached his hand behind his head to grab a handful of hair and he realized there was a lot of it.
It was long like a girls.

Confusion set in with him as everything around him faded and he quickly passed out.

Simon slowly opened his eyes and looked around at his foreign surroundings.

Rock walls on all sides of him.

"Hmmmm...."
He moaned softly and started to sit up, but quickly fell back down due to the fact that his head was swimming and he had shooting pains across his abdomen.

"God Damn..."
He said putting his hand over his face.
"What the hell happened?"
His voice came out a raspy whisper, and before he could say anything else, he jumped as he heard a tiny giggle somewhere behind him.

Shooting up, he turned to face the voice, and threw his hand up to his face to fight the dizziness he was encountering.

"Some bitch."
Trying to shake it off, he looked back up into the dark corner.
"Who's there?"

Another giggle came out of the darkness and a figure slowly emerged.

A tall lanky woman walked into a stream of moonlight that leaked in through a window above her.

She had shoulder length mousy blonde hair and wasn't exceptionally attractive. Her long turned up nose and large full lips which seemed to be fighting a grin exposing two elongated teeth peeking out from under her top lip told him she didn't need to be attractive. Not at all.

Simon regained his senses and scooted backwards until hit a wall behind him.

"What the fu...."
Forcing himself to blink as he stared at her, she took a couple of steps forward causing him to flinch.

"What kinda kookie chick are you??"

She grinned a little wider and slowly squatted herself down still just a few paces from him.

Okay, maybe she was slightly attractive. But no where near the girls he would normally be seen with.

He stared deep into her eyes and it hit him that he had seen her before, remembering a flash of a brief moment in the grocery store in town when he was picking up supplies for his grandmother.

She followed him from isle to isle, giggling as he looked at her and he remembered shaking his head, moving as fast as he could to get away from her, seeing that his first thought was that she was nothing special to look at.
At least not at first. Now, though. Now...

Wait. Cool it, Jack. She ain't all that.

But she was. Except, there was something about her that was different.

He shook his head again and moved again scooting away from her.

"You're that chick from town a few days ago...aren't you? I remember you...the one from the grocery store..."
She nodded and finally spoke. Her voice sounding raspy and heavily southern.

"You got that right sugar...."
She went down onto her knees and was suddenly at his side touching his hair.
"Mmmmm..."
She leaned to his neck and sniffed him slowly causing him to flinch again.
"You still smell as wonderful as you did before."

She proceeded to lick his neck up to his ear just as he pushed himself to the concrete floor.

His stomach wretched in pain and he wrapped his arms around his abdomen.

"Son of a bitch woman!! What the hell did you do to me??"
He screamed squeezing his eyes shut and pushing his face into the rocks and dirt around him.
"Why the hell....OHHHH!!!"

He curled up into a ball, shaking, and she stood looming over him.

"Dear dear Simon..."
She spoke softly, almost trying to get inside his head.
"Sweet, beautiful Simon."
Letting out another giggle, she combed her fingers through his soft dark hair.

"You...are mine now...forever."

The words she said shot through him like knives.
"Forever? Like..."

"Forever. Always. Till the end of time, or unless I see fit to release you."
She whispered and leaned forward to lick across the back of his ear.
"You're a vampire, Simon."

His breath hitched in his throat.
I'm....a what?! He screamed in his head, but she laughed and stood to walk halfway across the room, then slowly turned to pull up a slow smirk.

"A vampire...sugar...just....like..."
Again she was suddenly at his side, with her face just inches from his as she pulled him from the ground with one hand and brushed her nose over his cheek with another giggle.

"...me...."
